Description:
    Previous versions of the open-vm-tools packages did not ship with
    default scripts for soft power operation.  This resulted in unnecessary
    error messages during power off and reboot operations from the VMware
    console.  
    Additionally, the open-vm-tools packages no longer have dependencies on
    Xorg packages, allowing installation into more streamlined appliance
    environments.
