Description:
Previous versions of the grub bootloader do not provide the standard
BOOT_IMAGE= kernel command line argument that says precisely which
    kernel image file was booted.

This version of module-init-tools introduces a new feature. If the
BOOT_IMAGE= kernel command line argument was provided, modules will
be sought in a directory matching the name of the kernel image file
that was booted instead of the kernel release version (uname -r),
    if such a directory exists.

Note: the new versions of grub will not be automatically installed on
the system. In order to take advantage of the new functionality, you
will need to explicitly install the new grub files, which can be done
with the grub-install program. Without installing the new version of
grub on existing systems, the functionality added to module-init-tools
    will not be available.

May 7 2007 Update: module-init-tools has been updated to be more robust
when kernel images have been renamed.
