Description:
    Previous versions of the tzdata package do not automatically update
    the system zoneinfo file, as documented in rPath Update Advisory
    2007-0024-1 (rPUA-2007-0024-1).  The glibc package has been updated
    to include a program that updates the /etc/localtime file correctly,
    and the tzdata package now calls that program whenever zoneinfo
    files are modified.
    
    The steps documented in in rPUA-2007-0024-1 as required to manually
    deploy the timezone changes on affected systems are no longer
    necessary.
    
    In addition, the most recent updates to timezone definitions have been
    applied in the tzdata package.
