rPath Linux 0.70 is released! This one even has updated graphics that
point out that it is a beta.

rPath Linux 0.70 is released.  The main focus has been fixing bugs;
we have frozen our interface major versions, and in general are
updating packages only to fix bugs. rPath Linux 0.70 includes
Conary 0.70.2. It also includes gcc 3.4.4. The entire distribution
was rebuilt with gcc 3.4.4, using recent conary versions that have
enhanced dependency detection and management. (The openoffice.org
package no longer claims to provide libstdc++.so, for example.)

rPath Linux 0.70 introduces individual package selection, and splits
the packages into a few high-level groups. The package selection is
done within the individual groups, and conary resolves dependencies
within the installation.

This release includes OpenOffice.org 1.1.5. Unfortunately, the
sourcecode to OpenOffice.org 1.1.5 includes many binaries that
made their way into the build, which creates a spurious dependency
that shows up as a failure in dependency resolution if you install
OpenOffice.org from the rPath Linux 0.70 installation. If you
choose to install OpenOffice.org, you will have to click on the
"OK" button to proceed with the installation.
